A "Fridge Group" is a group of people who spend time each week studying with each other, praying for each other, but mainly are groups that "do life" together. The name "Fridge Group" comes from the idea that when you are more than friends with someone you get "Refrigerator Rights," meaning that if there's food in the house, you can eat it. This is normally a right reserved for only the nuclear family. The goal of a Fridge Group is to grow together so deeply that people who came together as strangers, over time, would see each other as family. Families care for one another, check up on one another, and in general make each other better.
This group rotates on occasion. They meet from 6-8 normally and are marked by the meal they share and the presence of all their kids. On average, there are more kids present on Wednesday nights at this group than there are adults. For more information, use the form below and someone will reach out to you. Contact Dan Fuchs at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
This group meets every other Sunday night at The Plains UMC. They share about their week and then go into a study time. For more information, contact Linda Fowler at email@example.com
